At the same time, we always admired the critical thinking approach – so we had no illusions about the relevance of the threat to our country and our people. Back in 2021, the prototype of the aircraft-type UAV “VACA” was created. It then underwent flight tests to be ready to serve the purposes of the Armed forces of Ukraine and other Defense forces. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, our UAV complex “VACA” has been actively engaged in experimental-combat operations, conducting the prescribed tasks and missions and bringing results that we are proud of.

 

As of January 2023, “VACA” in its various payload options has conducted 18 combat missions in total in the area of responsibility of the Joint Forces Grouping “Kherson”. As such, the UAV wing “VACA” proved to be an irreplaceable and highly-efficient element of the comprehensive warfighting system, enabling the work of the Joint Defence forces by providing reconnaissance support, implementing attack operations, and delivering various kinds of cargo.

 

The crew itself consists of well-trained and highly-qualified UAV operators with a proven track record operating UAVs in combat conditions. During the ongoing Ruso-Ukrainian war, the team mastered its electronic warfare skills, working under the conditions of the enemy’s countermeasures and learning from real combat experience. Looking at the “VACA” project from the long-term perspective, we consider training the fundamental stage of our development process. Thus, we developed the methodology for the tactics of using our UAV complex and organized the training process which resulted in the graduation of piloting crews, ready for the independent combat operation.

 

We are determined to work hard. We seek to upgrade the current technologies, share our experience with others, teach the new crews and scale the production.
